This is the build that I use solo. I use it in group too, unless people complain it's laggy and it's hard to see because of all the trap VFX. If that happens, I only build etheral traps and spam the map with gas traps (took that from Tusky).
If solo, I usually start on barb and build the totems first. I immediately upgrade the damage totem to 1 star and the speed totem to 3 arrows. I then build auras, traps, minions, and finally EV. I upgrade a buff beam to 3 arrows before starting.
Start the wave near the forge and check where the dragon goes on your mini-map. The dragon will always spawn at hint 1, but he can fly in either direction. Run to the harpoon and shoot him down as soon as the wave starts (should have enough speed even on big monk with fp/fs and a movement speed weapon in addition to the speed totem). DONT KILL THE DRAGON YET, clear the maps of the mechs and demons, then go kill the dragon. The spider queen will spawn right after, or a bit before depending on your pathing. Kill her next. You should have time to do all this inside 1 hero boost. After the spider queen, you can go on cooldown and tb instead while waiting for other bosses to spawn. The rest of the bosses after that is pretty simple and easy.
For the last wave I do bring my alt in and he tower boosts. If it's hard for you solo, dont bring in an alt. If you're in a group, sell the totem and rebuild it at hint 2 so the barb can kill the spider queen more easily.
