This map wasn't actually as bad as I thought it would be. My first run (not this build) went horribly, and I thought it would be bad because of how big the map is, but it somehow wasn't as bad as Wizardry.
I did this first try (with this build at least) with only an upgrader Adept and Booster Monk on the center crystal, but I also had some issues on the earlier waves with Sharken pushing towers (I just sold them and rebuilt them in build phase). It would probably be better to put DPS summoners on the outer three crystals, or just not use splits for less enemies.
The website doesn't show the build very well. Essentially, each crystal has a 6-9 aura stack, 4DU buff beam, 2 seed bombers, one in each major direction, a mushroom, a forest golem, and a gas trap pointing toward whichever direction is causing issues.
On every hint 1, you need to put down archer walls with a mage and a spider.
On hint 2, you should try to put an archer wall here, but if you run out of DU (prioritize this one last), put a physical beam.
Build 1: build auras, buff beams, and seed bombers
Wave 1: Try to upgrade buff beams as much as possible
Build 2: build mushrooms, golems, and as many minions as possible
Wave 2+: Upgrade, pay attention on early waves for emergency repairs
Build 3+: build gas traps, minions, and the physical beam.
