Make sure the Auras on top and bottom of the bridge are both buff by the Series EV buff.
(1) - Make sure the Mages are far enough so they are not getting hit by the explosions that happens on the Orc line.
(2) - If you have trash mobs attacking this crystal, its probably because youre Apprentice does not have enough Tower range.
I put 2 summoner with Range and Atk rate guardians pets on F3 and F4
I run on F2 (full screen it with F8) with a DPS summoner , DPS gear with 2 DPS pets. I mainly heal/DPS the bottom of the bridge but be prepare to move to middle or top of bridge to heal/DPS if needed.
It may be possible to AFK waves with 2 summoners depending on stats.
