Description:

This is Part 5 of my personal leveling route getting characters from fresh to 74 in under a few hours depending on how much i focus or what limitations i put on my self. I hope that it will, in turn, help newer players get into the later game a bit faster and potentially keep their/your attention to the game longer w/o losing motivation for the earlier parts with a sense of direction. Takes from scratch upto 6 hours last I ran, but i focused a lot on the early game stats more than I should have wasting time.

This is the early mythical gearing section and one of my favourite maps, traditionally people recommend endless spires wave 1 which is pretty weak imo, most of the stats are about 50-80 while fairly easy, so is King's Game.

* I went back to do some testing and before I got back here i was rocking about 1k stats just from moonbase random mythic rewards on top of the fish, so I edited the stats a bit, but i'm sure it can be done with less if u upgrade more. It wouldn't hurt to have a tower boost monk either. Last time I came here around 70 with lower stats and used a boost monk and it went smooth.

This build worked for me w/o upgrading much, mainly auras and buff beams, but i like to focus on pressing squares. You might be wondering what i mean by pressing squares, well in King's Game there are shining squares that when you walk over will do a number of things from healing you, giving mana, +10 DU and MU (1 time), damaging you, slowing down gameplay, killing various enemies and even fully upgrading all of your defenses. While getting upgraded defenses is low it's still fun for me. You can choose to play this map full on or finish round 1 then open all of the chests while on a summoner when you're on a summoner all the drops from chests will be armour and that's what we're after. if you continue to play the map try to stay on the summoner the whole game bringing in characters on the final wave assuming you're using a split-screen controller/emulator. While in ethereal mode you can press squares without taking damage, you can also look at gear but to pick up the gear, you have to exit the form to grab it. Still helps sort out loot you looked at while the round was playing through to get through the map a bit faster. What i opt to do was run around during the waves downtime and grab every piece of gear and sort through it after, up to you. If you're struggling to complete this, try equipping armour you acquired from the chests and try again.

Each crystal will essentially be on a square and that's how I'll explain the build.

Rebuilt layout in hopes to get point across better Yellow arrow lines are walls for summons since you wall off lightning towers and Blue arrow lines simulate buff beam for lightning towers. Hints are curved to help get a better understanding of which is where. Both aura stacks are just very slightly north of crystals as soon as you can build them. I also added pictures to really drive it home.

Hint 3: Crystals

Hint 1: Top layer crystal aura stack slightly north of the crystal on the square north of the crystal will also be the square we build towers. Place lightning towers on the southern edge of the square close to the crystal. West of this square will be another square build to the far west just past the line bordering to the next square with minions. Next directly east of the crystal (i will build squares to show this one.) Say Hint 3 is the crystal on the top layer, those squares would be how it'd be laid out, if the summons are too close to the crystal an ogre will eventually drop aggro on the towers it can't reach and attack the summons and cleave the crystal. This is why you want to place them far enough east, slanted just off the square next to the crystal. Finally east of the forge is a huge white bishop/chess piece you want to build the last set of archers and spider on the square east of it on the northern border to the next square to block off ogres.

Hint 2: Middle layer crystal aura stack slightly north of the crystal on the square north of the crystal will also be the square we build towers. Place lightning towers pretty much on the northern edge of the square. West and East of this square will be another square, on the west build to the far west just past the line bordering to the next square with minions. Next to the east build to the far east, once again just past the line bordering the next square with minions.

Build Summons on wave 2 if you plan to go for a clear. Adding 1-3 upgrades into each summon after beams and auras are maxed can greatly increase their survivability with little mana consumption if they're struggling to stay alive.
