Place ensnare and lightning auras first, then buff beams and then at least one lightning turret at each buff beam. Upgrade buff beams first, then turrets and auras. Depending on your stats you won't need to fully upgrade anything more than the buff beams.
This is Semi-AFK as being pure strategy you need to start each wave, but other than the aura repair once in a while, you won't need to do anything after beams are fully upgraded
This is great to level alternate characters, though keep in mind the damage will be less if you don't have your Apprentice & Monk out for their respective defenses.
Defense Placement Specifics:
Western Auras - Corner of Rubble, Between the two barrels
Western Buff - Between pillar and table, 4DU
Northern Auras - In the middle at the end of the bridge
Northern Buff - Middle of tree roots, then stretch it full 6DU
Eastern Auras - In the middle of the doorway, on the bricks
Eastern Buff - Eastern corner of fallen door to Western corner, 4DU
